Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information the BioRevon website handles and why. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What the website collects

The website has no forms and no accounts, and runs no advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, the page requested and the browser type) for security and to keep the website running. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

The map on the contact page comes from Google Maps and loads as it comes into view. Google then receives your visit to the map and may set cookies, under Google's own privacy policy.

Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used: which pages and medicines people look at, how they arrive, and when someone taps to call, WhatsApp or email us. It tells us what to improve. It is never used to identify you, and nothing is shared for advertising.

The first time you visit, the website asks whether Google Analytics may use cookies. If you choose "Allow", it stores two Google Analytics cookies on your device (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID), which let it recognise a returning visit; they last up to two years. If you choose "No thanks", or make no choice, no analytics cookies are stored, and Google receives only anonymous signals that a page was viewed. Your choice is kept in your browser, and you can change it at any time from "Cookies" at the bottom of every page.

Google processes this information for us under its own terms and privacy policy, and may do so outside India. Google Analytics does not store your IP address.

When you contact us

If you call, send a WhatsApp message or email us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, number, email address and your message. We use them only to answer you and to keep a record of the enquiry. We do not sell or share them for marketing. WhatsApp and email are run by their own providers under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to deal with the enquiry and to meet our legal obligations, and then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct or complete it;
• erase it, where the law allows;
• deal with a grievance about how we handled it.

Changes

If the website starts collecting anything new, this page will be updated first.
